Joseph Bensimon

Joseph Bensimon is an advanced chess player and coach with a current expert US Chess Federation rating of 2032. Mr. Bensimon, fluent in French, Hebrew and English has been playing competitive chess for over 16 years and has won numerous citywide tournaments in his native Toronto, Canada, including multiple 1st Prize Trophies at the Knights of Chess Club.

Born in 2004, currently studying at Yeshiva University and now a Maryland resident, Mr. Bensimon focuses on improving a chess player's skills in the areas in where they most want to focus. Whether wishing to master a line in an opening, recognizing tactical patterns, or understanding the intricacies of rook and pawn endgames, Mr. Bensimon is experienced in developing games for students of all levels, from absolute beginner to advanced player.

In person lessons currently available in southern Maryland and online, $55 per hour.
